Update #15 (GMOD & Community) - Human Tree92 - 07-27-2017
I would like to go ahead & give a Huge SHOUTOUT to Lt. Dan for donating the $50 to help keep our server up. I was going through rough times spending the last of my money to pay for my phone bill. So now i can continue developing for the server.
GMOD Updates:
There will be some new things when you connect to the server. For instance the Pool Hall will now have the Pool Tables in them. The Tavern will also have 1 Pool Table in there as well. The Tavern will also have the Bottle Seller for the Moonshine. Also yes we have another script that will be added. Moonshine will now be in the VIP Illegal Shop in a few days. We will however be moving Cocaine over to the Regular Illegal Shop. The Semi Trucks & Trailers are now Complete & prices are set. Check them out over at GM. Also the Content Packs will be updated on a Regular Basis. Currently right now Content Packs 1-2 are Texture packs for Scripts, Content Pack 3 is Vehicle Shared Textures, & Content Pack 4 is all of our other addons like Perma Props. Mainly Content Packs 4 & so on will be updated more often. But due note that any other Server that Tries to use our Content Packs will have to suffer with our settings. The GMOD Collection is still being worked on. We plan on moving all other addons that we have into their own workshop items. So that way instead of having a bunch of stuff people have to subscribe to it will be less. Also it will help with loadings of the server. I did notice when starting the server up with Content Packs 1-4 we increased our Servers load time by 30+ seconds. As far as player loading that all depends on your personal internet connection. So over the next few weeks we will have all of our Addons in the Collection we have into their own Workshop Items. Also we will be pushing the Tab menu over. What this means is that the TAB menu is now a ooc kinda thing. For now on the only players who will be able to access the TAB Menu will be Staff. I am tired of players using ooc to see who is what job & how much money a player has on them. I will remove this if people would understand this. And so for now on any Staff Member who uses the TAB Menu to check to see what another player is or to see how much another player has they will be removed from Staff FOREVER!!! Also i have disabled the Crouch + E effect. Before when you Crouched & Press E on an item you picked it up. That is gone now. In order to pick things up you must have the Inventory Pickup out & left click on the items.GMOD WIP:
Crafting Mod - Still being worked on but not working on it as much as i should beProps - We will be adding props for people to buy & store them in your ItemStore. We will be adding VIP, Non-VIP, & Police Props.
Weapons - We will probably be moving away from M9K. There is a few problems with it like not having attachments.
GMOD Planned Updates:
Hunger Mod - We will be adding this depending on what our Players thinkCooking Script - To make food for Hunger Mod instead of Buying Food
Flash & Smoke Grenade - For SWAT
Metal Detector - These would be placed at PD, City Hall, Bank, FD, & Hospital
Casino Hold'em & Slots - Give more gambling (Fast way to make money & then lose 500K)
Cinema Kit - Allow users to watch videos in the Movie Theater
Furniture Store - Allow users to buy furniture for the Apartments & Houses
NPC Shop/Rob System - Allows users to buy stuff from shops & have an option to rob them
Controls Tab - Will allow users to type !help to show all the controls on the server
Staff Tracker - Will show the Super Admins & Head Staff who is on the most & track the Staff Team
And a few others that i don't have time to list them all.
GMOD Possible Updates:
Car Bombs - Would give VIPs another special Weapon & gives SWAT a Weapon to check for BombsPress Plates - Will decrease your time in jail for every plate you make.
Event Addon - Will allow us to do special events like Street Racing & Battles
Bathroom Mod - You have to go Pee & Poop every now & then. Also allows you to Pee Blood & if you don't use a restroom you can get cited
